Quasi-exclusive photos of the wedding of the summer!

Ashford Castle is located next to the village of Cong, County Mayo, Ireland, where the classic John Wayne/Maureen O’Hara movie The Quiet Man was filmed a half-century ago. As you can see, the village still draws tourists via its association with the movie.

This photo was taken on a road passing a golf course near Ballinrobe, a few miles
in either direction from Ballintubber Abbey and Ashford Castle. Could this be Pierce
himself, unwinding with a few rounds of golf before his wedding?

The only confirmed Pierce Brosnan sighting the day of the wedding
was at the SuperValu in Ballinrobe.

Those of us who weren’t invited to Pierce Brosnan’s wedding had
to make do with a front page article and photo in the Irish edition
of London’s Sunday Times—or any number of English or Irish tabloids.
